Translation

Narrated `Aisha: I applied perfume to the Prophet with my own hands when he wanted to assume the state of Ihram, and I also perfumed him at Mina before he departed from there (to perform Tawaf-al-Ifada).

حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : طَيَّبْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِي لِحُرْمِهِ ، وَطَيَّبْتُهُ بِمِنًى قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفِيضَ .

مجھ سے احمد بن محمد مروزی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی، کہا ہم کو یحییٰ بن سعید انصاری نے خبر دی، انہیں عبدالرحمٰن بن قاسم نے خبر دی، انہیں ان کے والد قاسم بن محمد نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو آپ کے احرام میں رہنے کے لیے اپنے ہاتھ سے خوشبو لگائی میں نے اسی طرح ( دسویں تاریخ کو ) منیٰ میں طواف زیارت کرنے سے پہلے اپنے ہاتھ سے آپ کو خوشبو لگائی۔

Narrated `Aisha: I used to perfume Allah's Apostle with the best scent available till I saw the shine of the scent on his head and shine beard.

Narrated Sa`d: A man peeped into the house of the Prophet through a hole while the Prophet was scratching his head with a Midrai (a certain kind of comb). On that the Prophet said (to him), If I had known you had been looking, then I would have pierced your eye with that instrument, because the asking of permission has been ordained so that one would not see things unlawfully.

Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet used to like to start from the right side as far as possible in combing and in performing ablution.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, (Allah said), 'Every good deed of Adam's son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.' Verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk.
