Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet used to like to start from the right side as far as possible in combing and in performing ablution.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُعْجِبُهُ التَّيَمُّنُ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ فِي تَرَجُّلِهِ وَوُضُوئِهِ .

ہم سے ابوالولید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے اشعث بن سلیم نے، ان سے ان کے والد نے، ان سے مسروق نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہر کام میں جہاں تک ممکن ہوتا داہنی طرف سے شروع کرنے کو پسند فرماتے تھے، کنگھا کرنے اور وضو کرنے میں بھی۔

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, (Allah said), 'Every good deed of Adam's son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.' Verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk.

Narrated `Aisha: used to perfume the Prophet before his assuming the state of with the best scent available.

Narrated Thumama bin `Abdullah;: Anas never used to refuse (a gift of) scent and used to say that the Prophet never used to refuse (a gift of) scent.

Narrated `Aisha: During Hajjat-al-Wada`, I perfumed Allah's Apostle with Dharira with my own hands, both on his assuming Ihram and on finishing it.

Narrated `Abdullah: Allah has cursed those women who practise tattooing and those who get themselves tattooed, and those who remove their face hairs, and those who create a space between their teeth artificially to look beautiful, and such women as change the features created by Allah. Why then should I not curse those whom the Prophet has cursed? And that is in Allah's Book. i.e. His Saying: 'And what the Apostle gives you take it and what he forbids you abstain (from it).' (59.7)

Narrated Humaid bin `Abdur-Rahman bin `Auf: that in the year he performed Hajj. he heard Mu'awiya bin Abi Sufyan, who was on the pulpit and was taking a tuft of hair from one of his guards, saying, Where are your religious learned men? I heard Allah's Apostle forbidding this (false hair) and saying, 'The children of Israel were destroyed when their women started using this.'
