Narrated Anas bin Malik: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The virtue of 'Aishah over women is like the virtue of Tharid over all other foods.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَضْلُ عَائِشَةَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ كَفَضْلِ الثَّرِيدِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الطَّعَامِ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي مُوسَى. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ هُوَ أَبُو طُوَالَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ الْمَدَنِيُّ ثِقَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ.

انس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”عورتوں پر عائشہ کی فضیلت اسی طرح ہے جیسے ثرید کی فضیلت دوسرے کھانوں پر ہے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عائشہ، ابوموسیٰ اشعری سے احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- عبداللہ بن عبدالرحمٰن بن معمر انصاری سے مراد ابوطوالہ انصاری مدنی ہیں اور وہ ثقہ ہیں، ان سے مالک بن انس نے بھی روایت کی ہے۔

Narrated 'Amr bin Ghalib: that a man spoke negatively of 'Aishah before 'Ammar bin Yasir so he said: Be gone as one despicable and rejected! Do you insult the beloved of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?

Narrated 'Ammar bin Yasir: She is his wife in the world and in the Hereafter. - meaning: 'Aishah [may Allah be pleased with her].

Narrated Anas [May Allah be pleased with him]: It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Who is the most beloved of the people to you?' He said: ''Aishah.' It was said: 'From the men?' He said: 'Her father.'

Narrated 'Ikrimah: After Salat As-Subh, it was said to Ibn 'Abbas that so-and-so - one of the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) - has died, so he prostrated. So it was said to him: 'Do you prostrate at this hour?' So he said: 'Has not the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) [already] said: 'If you see a sign then prostrate?' Then which sign is grater than the passing of (one of) the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ)?'

Narrated Safiyyah bint Huyai: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon me and some words had reached me from Hafsah and 'Aishah. So I mentioned it to him. So he said: 'Why did you not say: And how are you better than me, while my husband is Muhammad and my father is Harun, and my uncle is Musa? That which had reached her, was that they had said: We are more honored to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) than her, and that they said: We are the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) and his cousins.

Narrated Umm Salamah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) called for Fatimah in the Year of the Conquest to him to speak to her, and she cried. Then he spoke to her and she laughed. She said: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) died I asked her about her crying and her laughing. She said: 'The Messenger of Allah (SAW0 informed me that he would (soon) die, so I cried. Then, he informed me that I was the master over all of the women among the inhabitants of Paradise, except for Mariam bint 'Imran, so I laughed.'
