Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

Anas narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: Every son of Adam sins, and the best of the sinners are the repetant.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُلُّ ابْنِ آدَمَ خَطَّاءٌ وَخَيْرُ الْخَطَّائِينَ التَّوَّابُونَ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَسْعَدَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ.

انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”سارے انسان خطاکار ہیں اور خطا کاروں میں سب سے بہتر وہ ہیں جو توبہ کرنے والے ہیں“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- اسے ہم صرف علی بن مسعدہ ہی کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں جسے وہ قتادہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں۔

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet(s.a.w) said: Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then let him honor his guest. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then let him say what is good or remain silent.

Abu Hudhaifah narrated - and he was one of the companions of 'Abdullãh bin Mas'üd - from 'Aishah who said: I told the Prophet (ﷺ) about a man, so he said: 'I do not like to talk about a man, even if I were to get this or that (for doing so). She said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Safiyyah is a woman who is ... and she used her hand as if to indicate that she is short - So he said: 'You have said a statement which, if it were mixed in with the water of the sea, it would pollute it.
