Ayman bin Khuraim narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) stood to give a Khutbah and said: O you people False witness is tantamount to Shirk with Allah Then the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)recited: So shun the Rijs of the idols, and shun false speech.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ، عَنْ فَاتِكِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ خُرَيْمٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ خَطِيبًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ عَدِلَتْ شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ إِشْرَاكًا بِاللَّهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الأَوْثَانِ وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ سورة الحج آية 30، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاخْتَلَفُوا فِي رِوَايَةِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا نَعْرِفُ لِأَيْمَنَ بْنِ خُرَيْمٍ سَمَاعًا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
ایمن بن خریم سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خطبہ کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے اور فرمایا: ”لوگو! جھوٹی گواہی اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرنے کے برابر ہے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ آیت پڑھی «فاجتنبوا الرجس من الأوثان واجتنبوا قول الزور» ”تو بتوں کی گندگی سے بچے رہو ( ان کی پرستش نہ کرو ) اور جھوٹ بولنے سے بچے رہو“ ( الحج: ۳۰ ) ۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- ہم اسے صرف سفیان بن زیاد کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں۔ اور لوگوں نے سفیان بن زیاد سے اس حدیث کی روایت کرنے میں اختلاف کیا ہے، ۳- نیز ہم ایمن بن خریم کا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سماع بھی نہیں جانتے ہیں۔

False witness is tantamount to Shirk with Allah. Saying it three times, then he recited this Ayah And shun false speech Until the end of the Ayah.

Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakrah narrated from his father that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Shall I not inform you of the greatest of the major sins? They said: Of course O Messenger of Allah(s.a.w)! He said: Shirk with Allah disobeying parents, and false testimony. Or: False speech He said: So the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) would not stop saying it until we said ( to ourselves): 'I wish he would be quiet.

Al-Hasan narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Who will take these statements from me, so that he may act upon them, or teach one who will act upon them? So Abu Hurairah said: I said: 'I shall O Messenger of Allah!' So he (s.a.w) took my hand and enumerated five (things), he said: Be on guard against the unlawful and you shall be the most worshiping among the people, be satisfied with what Allah has alloted for you and you shall be the richest of the people, be kind to your neighbor and you shall be a believer, love for the people what you love for yourself and you shall be a Muslim. And do not laugh too much, for indeed increased laughter kills the heart.
