Aishah narrated that : the Prophet said: When the circumcised meets the circumcised then Ghusl is required.

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا جَاوَزَ الْخِتَانُ الْخِتَانَ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ عَائِشَةَ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِذَا جَاوَزَ الْخِتَانُ الْخِتَانَ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِنْهُمْ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُمَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُثْمَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلِيٌّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْفُقَهَاءِ مِنَ التَّابِعِينَ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِثْلِ:‏‏‏‏ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالشَّافِعِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحْمَدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا الْتَقَى الْخِتَانَانِ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب مرد کے ختنے کا مقام عورت کے ختنے کے مقام ( شرمگاہ ) سے مل جائے تو غسل واجب ہو گیا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- کئی سندوں سے عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کی نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم مرفوع حدیث مروی ہے کہ ”جب ختنے کا مقام ختنے کے مقام سے مل جائے تو غسل واجب ہو جاتا ہے“ صحابہ کرام میں سے اکثر اہل علم کا یہی قول ہے، ان میں ابوبکر، عمر، عثمان، علی اور عائشہ رضی الله عنہم بھی شامل ہیں، تابعین اور ان کے بعد کے فقہاء میں سے بھی اکثر اہل علم مثلاً سفیان ثوری، شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا یہی قول ہے کہ جب دونوں ختنوں کے مقام آپس میں چھو جائیں تو غسل واجب ہو گیا۔

Ubayy bin Ka'b narrated: Water is for water,' was only permitted in the beginning of Islam. Then it was prohibited.

Aishah narrated: The Prophet was asked about a man who finds wetness and he does not remember having a wet dream. So he said: 'He is to perform Ghusl. And (he was asked) about a man who had a wet dream but does not find any wetness, so he said: 'No Ghusl is required of him.' Umm Salamah said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Is the woman required to perform Ghusl if she sees that?' He replied: 'Yes. Indeed women are the partners of men.'

Ali narrated: I asked the Prophet about Al-Madhi. He said: For Al-Madhi is Wudu, and for AI-Mani is Ghusl.

Sahl bin Hunaif said: I suffered from a severe and troubling case of Al-Madhi. I was performing Ghusl often because of it. So I mentioned that to Allah's Messenger and asked him about it. He said: You only need to perform Wudu for that. I said: O Messenger of Allah! How about when it gets on my clothes? He said: It is sufficient for you to take a handful of water and sprinkle it n your garment wherever you see that it has touched it.
