حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ فِي أَوَّلِ الْإِسْلَامِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ نُسِخَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَكَذَا رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِنْهُمْ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَرَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ عَلَى أَنَّهُ إِذَا جَامَعَ الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ فِي الْفَرْجِ وَجَبَ عَلَيْهِمَا الْغُسْلُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُنْزِلَا

اس سند سے بھی زہری سے اسی جیسی حدیث مروی ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- صرف منی نکلنے ہی کی صورت میں غسل واجب ہوتا ہے، یہ حکم ابتدائے اسلام میں تھا، بعد میں یہ حکم منسوخ ہو گیا، ۳- اسی طرح صحابہ کرام میں سے کئی لوگوں سے جن میں ابی بن کعب اور رافع بن خدیج رضی الله عنہما بھی شامل ہیں، مروی ہے، ۴- اور اسی پر اکثر اہل علم کا عمل ہے، کہ جب آدمی اپنی بیوی کی ( شرمگاہ ) میں جماع کرے تو دونوں ( میاں بیوی ) پر غسل واجب ہو جائے گا گرچہ ان دونوں کو انزال نہ ہوا ہو۔

Aishah narrated: The Prophet was asked about a man who finds wetness and he does not remember having a wet dream. So he said: 'He is to perform Ghusl. And (he was asked) about a man who had a wet dream but does not find any wetness, so he said: 'No Ghusl is required of him.' Umm Salamah said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Is the woman required to perform Ghusl if she sees that?' He replied: 'Yes. Indeed women are the partners of men.'

Ali narrated: I asked the Prophet about Al-Madhi. He said: For Al-Madhi is Wudu, and for AI-Mani is Ghusl.

Sahl bin Hunaif said: I suffered from a severe and troubling case of Al-Madhi. I was performing Ghusl often because of it. So I mentioned that to Allah's Messenger and asked him about it. He said: You only need to perform Wudu for that. I said: O Messenger of Allah! How about when it gets on my clothes? He said: It is sufficient for you to take a handful of water and sprinkle it n your garment wherever you see that it has touched it.

Hammam bin AI-Harith narrated: Aishah had a guest to whom she lent a yellow wrap for him to sleep in. He had a wet dream, and was too embarrassed to send it to her while the traces of the wet dream were present on it. So he submerged it (washing it) in water, then he sent it to her. Aishah said, Why did he ruin our garment? It would have been sufficient for him to scrape it off with his fingers. Sometimes I would scrape it off of the garment of Allah's Messenger with my fingers.
