Translation

Arabic, English and Urdu

It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Khudri that: He used to become sexually impure at night, then he would want to sleep. The Messenger of Allah told him to perform ablution and then go to sleep.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ كَانَ تُصِيبُهُ الْجَنَابَةُ بِاللَّيْلِ فَيُرِيدُ أَنْ يَنَامَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ يَنَامَ .

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہیں رات میں جنابت لاحق ہوتی اور سونا چاہتے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم انہیں حکم دیتے کہ وہ وضو کر کے سوئیں۔

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'If anyone of you has intercourse with his wife, then he wants to do it again, let him perform ablution.'

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: The Prophet was asked about whether a person who is sexually impure can sleep, or eat, or drink. He said: 'yes, if he does ablution as for the prayer.'
