It was narrated that Anas said: I put out water for the Messenger of Allah for a bath, and he had a bath after going to all of his wives in one night.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَضَعْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غُسْلًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ فَاغْتَسَلَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ نِسَائِهِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ .

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے غسل کا پانی رکھا تو آپ نے رات میں اپنی ساری بیویوں سے صحبت کے بعد ( ایک ہی ) غسل کیا ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Abu Rafi' that: The Prophet went around to all of his wives in one night, and he had a bath after each one of them. It was said to him: O Messenger of Allah, why not make it one bath? He said: This is purer, better and cleaner.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: If the Messenger of Allah wanted to eat when he was sexually impure, he would perform ablution.

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: The Prophet was asked about whether a person who is sexually impure can sleep, or eat, or drink. He said: 'yes, if he does ablution as for the prayer.'

It was narrated from 'Aishah that: If the Prophet wanted to eat when he was sexually impure, he would wash his hands.

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Salamah said: I entered upon 'Ali bin Abu Talib and he said: 'The Messenger of Allah used to go to the lavatory and relieve himself, then come out, and he would eat bread and meat with us and recite Qur'an, nothing stopped him' or perhaps he said: 'prevented him from doing so except sexual impurity.'

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'No one who is sexually impure and no woman who is menstruating should recite Qur'an.'
