It was narrated that Umm Salamah said: Some meat from the shoulder of a sheep was brought to the Messenger of Allah and he ate some of it, then he performed prayer without touching water (for ablution).

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْزَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَتِفِ شَاةٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَصَلَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً .

ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں بکری کی ( پکی ہوئی ) دست پیش کی گئی، آپ نے اس میں سے کھایا، پھر نماز پڑھی، اور پانی کو ہاتھ نہیں لگایا۔

Suwaid bin Nu'man Ansari narrated that : They went out with the Messenger of Allah to Khaibar. When they reached As-Sahba' (a place near Khaibar), he performed 'Asr (Afternoon prayer), then he called for food, but no food was brought except for Sawiq. So they ate that and drank, and then he called for water and rinsed his mouth, then he stood up and led us for Maghrib (Sunset) prayer.

It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said: The Messenger of Allah commanded us to perform ablution after eating camel meat but not to perform ablution after eating the mutton.

It was narrated that Usaid bin Hudair said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Do not perform ablution after (drinking) sheep's milk, but perform ablution after (drinking) camel's milk.'

Abdullah bin 'Amr said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Perform ablution after (eating) camel meat, but do not perform ablution after (eating) mutton. Perform ablution after (drinking) camel's milk, but do not perform ablution after (drinking) sheep's milk. Perform prayer in the sheep pens but not do in the camels' Ma'atin.'
