Translation

It was narrated from Abu Bakr Siddiq(RA) that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: No person who mistreats his slave will enter Paradise. They said: O Messenger of Allah, did you not tell us that this nation will have more slaves and orphans than any other nation? He said: Yes, so be as kind to them as you are to your own children, and feed them with the same food that you eat. They said: What will benefit us in this world? He said: A horse that is kept ready for fighting in the cause of Allah, and your slave to take care of you, and if he performs prayer, then he is your brother(in Islam).

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ فَرْقَدٍ السَّبَخِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُرَّةَ الطَّيِّبِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ سَيِّئُ الْمَلَكَةِ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ أَلَيْسَ أَخْبَرْتَنَا أَنَّ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ أَكْثَرُ الْأُمَمِ مَمْلُوكِينَ وَيَتَامَى،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ،‏‏‏‏ فَأَكْرِمُوهُمْ كَكَرَامَةِ أَوْلَادِكُمْ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَطْعِمُوهُمْ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ فَمَا يَنْفَعُنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَرَسٌ تَرْتَبِطُهُ تُقَاتِلُ عَلَيْهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَمْلُوكُكَ يَكْفِيكَ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِذَا صَلَّى فَهُوَ أَخُوكَ .

ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بدخلق شخص جو اپنے غلام اور لونڈی کے ساتھ بدخلقی سے پیش آتا ہو، جنت میں داخل نہ ہو گا ، لوگوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا آپ نے ہمیں نہیں بتایا کہ اس امت کے اکثر افراد غلام اور یتیم ہوں گے؟ ۱؎ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیوں نہیں؟ لیکن تم ان کی ایسی ہی عزت و تکریم کرو جیسی اپنی اولاد کی کرتے ہو، اور ان کو وہی کھلاؤ جو تم خود کھاتے ہو ، پھر لوگوں نے عرض کیا: ہمارے لیے دنیا میں کون سی چیز نفع بخش ہو گی؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:: گھوڑا جسے تم جہاد کے لیے باندھ کر رکھتے ہو، پھر اس پر اللہ کی راہ میں جنگ کرتے ہو ( اس کی جگہ ) تمہارا غلام تمہارے لیے کافی ہے، اور جب نماز پڑھے تو وہ تمہارا بھائی ہے ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah(RA) that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not tell you of something which, if you do it, you will love one another? Spread (the greeting of) peace among yourselves.'
