Translation

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to wear (his ring) with the stone nearest his palm.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ نَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم كَانَ يَجْعَلُ فَصَّ خَاتَمِهِ مِمَّا يَلِي كَفَّهُ .

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی انگوٹھی کے نگینے کو ہتھیلی کی جانب رکھتے تھے۔

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wore a silver ring with an Ethiopian gemstone, and he used to ear the stone in towards his palm.

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “Jibril (as) promised the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that he would come to him at a certain hour, but he was late. The Prophet (ﷺ) went out and there was Jibril standing at the door. He said: ‘What kept you from entering?’ He said: ‘There is a dog in the house, and we do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.’”
