It was narrated that Umm Salamah said: There was no garment more beloved to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) than the shirt.”
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أُمِّهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ يَكُنْ ثَوْبٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْقَمِيصِ .
ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کرتے ( قمیص ) سے بڑھ کر کوئی لباس محبوب اور پسندیدہ نہ تھا ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Salim, from his father, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Hanging down may apply to the waist wrap, shirt or turban. Whoever lets any of these drag out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.”
