Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

It was narrated from 'Aishah, the wife of the Prophet [SAW], that: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: The makers of these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: 'Bring to life that which you have created.'

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ هَذِهِ الصُّوَرِ يُعَذَّبُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ:‏‏‏‏ أَحْيُوا مَا خَلَقْتُمْ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بلاشبہ یہ تصویریں بنانے والے قیامت کے دن عذاب پائیں گے اور ان سے کہا جائے گا: زندگی عطا کرو اسے جسے تم نے بنایا تھا“۔

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: Jibril, peace be upon him, asked permission to enter upon the Prophet [SAW] and he said: 'Come in.' He said: 'How can I come in when there is a curtain in your house on which there are images? You should either cut off their heads or make it into a rug to be stepped on, for we Angels do not enter a house in which there are images.'
