Amr bin shu'aib said: My father told me, mar rating from his father, from his father (and he mentioned 'Abdullah bin 'Amr) that he said: The Messenger of Allah said: It is not permissible to lend on the condition of a sale, or to stipulate two conditions in one transaction, or to make a profit on that which you do not possess.

أَخْبَرَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ حَتَّى ذَكَرَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَحِلُّ سَلَفٌ وَبَيْعٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَلَا شَرْطَانِ فِي بَيْعٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَلَا رِبْحُ،‏‏‏‏ مَا لَمْ يُضْمَنْ .

عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”سلف ( قرض ) اور بیع ایک ساتھ جائز نہیں، اور نہ ایک بیع میں دو شرطیں، اور نہ ہی ایسی چیز کا نفع جس کے تاوان کی ذمے داری نہ ہو“۔
