It was narrated that 'Atiyyah Al-Qurazi said: On the day that Sa'd passed judgment on Banu Quraizah I was a young boy and they were not sure about me, but they did not find any pubic hair, so they let me live, and here I am among you.
أخبرنا محمد بن منصور قال حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن عطية القرظي قال:‏‏‏‏ كنت يوم حكم سعد في بني قريظة غلاما فشكوا في فلم يجدوني أنبت فاستبقيت فها أنا ذا بين أظهركم ‏.‏
عطیہ قرظی کہتے ہیں کہ   جب سعد رضی اللہ عنہ نے بنو قریظہ کے مردوں کے قتل کا فیصلہ دیا تو اس وقت میں بچہ تھا، لوگوں کو میرے متعلق شبہ ہوا ( کہ میں فی الواقع بچہ ہوں یا جوان؟ جب انہوں نے تحقیق کی ) تو مجھے زیر ناف کے بالوں والا نہیں پایا اور میں بچ رہا۔ چنانچہ میں آج تمہارے درمیان موجود ہوں۔
