It was narrated that Ubaid bin Juraij said: I said to Ibn Umar: 'I see that you only touch these two Yemeni corners.' He said: 'I only saw the Messenger of Allah touch these two corners.' This is an abridgement of it.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَالِكٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُكَ لَا تَسْتَلِمُ مِنَ الْأَرْكَانِ إِلَّا هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ الْيَمَانِيَيْنِ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ أَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُ إِلَّا هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ ،‏‏‏‏ مُخْتَصَرٌ.

عبید بن جریج کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہا: میں نے آپ کو کعبہ کے چاروں ارکان میں سے صرف انہیں دونوں یمانی ( رکن یمانی اور حجر اسود ) کا استلام کرتے دیکھا، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ان دونوں رکنوں کے علاوہ کسی اور رکن کا استلام کرتے نہیں دیکھا، یہ حدیث مختصر ہے۔
