It was narrated from Salim that his father said: The Messenger of Allah did not touch any of the corner of the House except the Black Corner and the one that is next to it, in the direction of the houses of Al-Jumahiyyain.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قراءة عليه وأنا أسمع،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَالِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُ مِنْ أَرْكَانِ الْبَيْتِ إِلَّا الرُّكْنَ الْأَسْوَدَ وَالَّذِي يَلِيهِ مِنْ نَحْوِ دُورِ الْجُمَحِيِّينَ .

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیت اللہ کے ارکان میں سے کسی کا استلام نہیں کرتے تھے سوائے حجر اسود اور اس رکن کے جو جمحی لوگوں کے گھروں کی طرف حجر اسود سے قریب ہے۔
