It was narrated from Mujahid and Umm Kulthum that: the Messenger of Allah entered upon 'Aishah and said: Do you have any food? a similar report.

أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَافَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أن رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ طَعَامٌ ؟ نَحْوَهُ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ.

مجاہد اور ام کلثوم سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس تشریف لے گئے، اور ان سے پوچھا: ”کیا تمہارے پاس کچھ کھانا ہے؟“ آگے اسی طرح ہے جیسے اس سے پہلی روایت میں ہے۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن ( نسائی ) کہتے ہیں: اور اسے سماک بن حرب نے بھی روایت کیا ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں: مجھ سے ایک شخص نے روایت کی اور اس نے عائشہ بنت طلحہ سے روایت کی ہے ( ان کی روایت آگے آ رہی ہے ) ۔

I said: 'No.' He came in to me on another occasion, and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we have been given some Hais.' He said: Then I will break my fast today, although I had started my day fasting. '
