Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever spends on a pair (of things) in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, he will be called in Paradise: 'O slave of Allah, here is prosperity, Whoever is one of the people of Salah, he will be called from the gate of salah. Whoever is on of the people of charity, he will be called from the gate of Ar-Rayyan.' Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said: 'O Messenger of Allah, no distress or need will befall the one who is called from those gates. Will there be anyone who will be called from all these gates?' The Messenger of Allah said: 'Yes, and I hope that you will be one of them. '

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قراءة عليه وأنا أسمع، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُونُسُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ أَنْفَقَ زَوْجَيْنِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ نُودِيَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ هَذَا خَيْرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصَّلَاةِ يُدْعَى مِنْ بَابِ الصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجِهَادِ يُدْعَى مِنْ بَابِ الْجِهَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصَّدَقَةِ يُدْعَى مِنْ بَابِ الصَّدَقَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصِّيَامِ دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الرَّيَّانِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ! مَا عَلَى أَحَدٍ يُدْعَى مِنْ تِلْكَ الْأَبْوَابِ مِنْ ضَرُورَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَهَلْ يُدْعَى أَحَدٌ مِنْ تِلْكَ الْأَبْوَابِ كُلِّهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ .

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص اللہ کی راہ میں جوڑا دے گا ۱؎ اسے جنت میں بلا کر پکارا جائے گا، اے اللہ کے بندے! یہ تیری نیکی ہے، تو جو شخص نمازی ہو گا وہ صلاۃ کے دروازے سے بلایا جائے گا، اور جو مجاہدین میں سے ہو گا وہ جہاد والے دروازہ سے بلایا جائے گا، اور جو صدقہ دینے والوں میں سے ہو گا وہ صدقہ والے دروازے سے بلایا جائے گا، اور جو روزہ داروں میں سے ہو گا وہ باب ریان سے بلایا جائے گا۔ ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کسی کے لیے ضرورت تو ۲؎ نہیں کہ وہ ان سبھی دروازوں سے بلایا جائے، لیکن کیا کوئی ان سبھی دروازوں سے بھی بلایا جائے گا؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ہاں اور مجھے امید ہے کہ تم انہیں لوگوں میں سے ہو گے“۔

Whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for fasting will be a restraint (Wija) for him. '

And whoever cannot, then fasting will be a shield for him. (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: This (narrator) is Abu Mashar, his name is Ziyad bin Kulaib, and he is trustworthy. He was a companion of Ibrahim. Mansur, Mughirah, and Shubah reported from him. (As for) Abu Mashar AL-Madini; his name is Najih and he is weak, and with his weakness, he also became confused, he narrated Munkar narrations, among them: Muhammad bin 'Amr from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet, who said: What is between the east and the west is the Qiblah. And among them: Hisham bin 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Aishah, from the Prophet: Do not cut meat with the knife, rather gnaw at it.
