It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: (Allah says) fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person rejoices twice: when he breaks his fast and the day when he meets his Lord. And the smell that come from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk. '
أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ الْمُنْذِرَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالصَّائِمُ يَفْرَحُ مَرَّتَيْنِ:‏‏‏‏ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَوْمَ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ وَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ .
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ” ( اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: ) روزہ میرے لیے ہے، اور میں ہی اس کا بدلہ دوں گا، روزہ دار دو بار خوش ہوتا ہے: ایک اپنے روزے کو کھولنے کے وقت، اور دوسرے جس دن وہ اللہ سے ملے گا، اور روزہ دار کے منہ کی بو اللہ کے یہاں مشک کی بو سے بھی زیادہ پاکیزہ ہے“۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: There is no good deed that the son of Adam does, but between ten and seven hundred Hasanahs will be recorded for him. Allah, the mighty and sublime, said: 'Except fasing, for it is for me and I shall reward for it. He gives up his desires and his food for my sake. Fasting is a shield, and the fasting person has two moments of joy. One when he breaks his fast and another when he meets his Lord. And the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk. '

Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah said: '(Allah says) Every deed of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting; it is for me and I shall reward for it. Fasting is a shield. If any one of you is fasting, let him no utter obscene talk or raise his voice in anger, and if anyone insults him or wants to fight, let him say: I am fasting. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell coming from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast he rejoices at breaking his fast and when he meets his Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, he will rejoice at having fasted. '

Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah, the Mighty and sublime, said: Every deed of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting; it is for me and I shall reward for it. Fasting is a shield. If any one of you is observing a fast, let him not utte obscene a fast, let him not utter obscene talk or raise his voice in anger, and if anyone insults him or wants to fight, let him say: I am a person who is fasting. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell coming from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk. ' (Sahih) This Hadith was narrated from Abu Hurairah by Saeed bin Al-Musayyab.
