It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah said; 'Take Sahur, for in Sahur there is blessing.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ نَسَائِيٌّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ تَسَحَّرُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّ فِي السَّحُورِ بَرَكَةً .

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”سحری کھاؤ، کیونکہ سحری میں برکت ہے“۔
