It was narrated from Ibrahim bin Muhammad that: He heard his father narrating that he heard Aishah say: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would not omit four rak'ahs before Zuhr and two rak'ahs before Fajr.

أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَدَعُ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا الصَّوَابُ عِنْدَنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَدِيثُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَرَ خَطَأٌ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ.

ابراہیم بن محمد سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے اپنے والد کو بیان کرتے سنا کہ انہوں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے سنا ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ظہر سے پہلے کی چار رکعتیں، اور فجر سے پہلے کی دو رکعتیں نہیں چھوڑتے تھے۔ ابو عبدالرحمٰن ( نسائی ) کہتے ہیں: ہمارے نزدیک صحیح یہی ہے، اور عثمان بن عمر کی ( پچھلی ) روایت غلط ہے، واللہ اعلم۔

It was narrated from Aishah that : The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The two rak'ahs (before) Fajr are better than this world and everything in it.
