Narrated Abu Dharr: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: In the morning alms are due from every bone in man's fingers and toes. Salutation to everyone he meets is alms; enjoining good is alms; forbidding what is disreputable is alms; removing what is harmful from the road is alms; having sexual intercourse with his wife is alms. The people asked: He fulfils his desire, Messenger of Allah; is it alms? He replied: Tell me if he fulfilled his desire where he had no right, would he commit a sin ? He then said: Two rak'ahs which one prays in the forenoon serve instead of all that. Abu Dawud said: Hammad did not mention enjoining good and forbidding what is disreputable.

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ وَهَذَا لَفْظُهُ وَهُوَ أَتَمُّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ وَاصِلٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُقَيْلٍ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يُصْبِحُ عَلَى كُلِّ سُلَامَى مِنَ ابْنِ آدَمَ صَدَقَةٌ تَسْلِيمُهُ عَلَى مَنْ لَقِيَ صَدَقَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَمْرُهُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ صَدَقَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَنَهْيُهُ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ صَدَقَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِمَاطَتُهُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ صَدَقَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَبُضْعَتُهُ أَهْلَهُ صَدَقَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ يَأْتِي شَهْوَةً وَتَكُونُ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ وَضَعَهَا فِي غَيْرِ حَقِّهَا أَكَانَ يَأْثَمُ ؟،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَيُجْزِئُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ رَكْعَتَانِ مِنَ الضُّحَى ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ حَمَّادٌ الْأَمْرَ وَالنَّهْيَ.

ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ابن آدم کے ہر جوڑ پر صبح ہوتے ہی صدقہ عائد ہو جاتا ہے، تو اس کا اپنے ملاقاتی سے سلام کر لینا بھی صدقہ ہے، اس کا معروف ( اچھی بات ) کا حکم کرنا بھی صدقہ ہے اور منکر ( بری بات ) سے روکنا بھی صدقہ ہے، اس کا راستہ سے تکلیف دہ چیز ہٹانا بھی صدقہ ہے، اور اس کا اپنی بیوی سے ہمبستری بھی صدقہ ہے لوگوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! وہ تو اس سے اپنی شہوت پوری کرتا ہے، پھر بھی صدقہ ہو گا؟ ( یعنی اس پر اسے ثواب کیونکر ہو گا ) تو آپ نے فرمایا: کیا خیال ہے تمہارا اگر وہ اپنی خواہش ( بیوی کے بجائے ) کسی اور کے ساتھ پوری کرتا تو گنہگار ہوتا یا نہیں؟ ( جب وہ غلط کاری کرنے پر گنہگار ہوتا تو صحیح جگہ استعمال کرنے پر اسے ثواب بھی ہو گا ) اس کے بعد آپ نے فرمایا: اشراق کی دو رکعتیں ان تمام کی طرف سے کافی ہو جائیں گی ( یعنی صدقہ بن جائیں گی ) ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: حماد نے اپنی روایت میں امر و نہی ( کے صدقہ ہونے ) کا ذکر نہیں کیا۔

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: A man never did a good deed but removed a thorny branch from the road; it was either in the tree and someone cut it and threw it on the road, or it was lying in it, he removed it. Allah accepted this good deed of his and brought him into Paradise.

Salim quoting his father (Ibn Umar) said ( sometimes he traced back to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم: Do not leave a fire burning in your houses while you are asleep.

Ibn Abbas said: A mouse came dragging a wick and dropped before the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on the mat on which he was sitting with the result that it burned a hole in it about the size of dirham. He (the prophet) said: When you go to sleep, extinguish your lamps, for the devil guides a creature like this to do thus and sets you on fire.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: We have not made peace with them since we fought with them, so he who leaves any of them alone through fear does not belong to us.
