Abu Musa reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: the son of a sister of a people belongs to them.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ مِخْرَاقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي كِنَانَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ .

ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قوم کی بہن کا لڑکا یعنی بھانجا اسی قوم کا ایک فرد ہے ۔

Narrated Abu Uqbah: Abdur Rahman ibn Abu Uqbah quoted his father Abu Uqbah who was a client from the people of Persia as saying: I was present at Uhud along with the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, and on smiting one of the polytheists I said: Take this from me who is the young Persian. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم then turned to me and said: Why did you not say: Take this from me who is the young Ansari?

Narrated Al-Miqdam ibn Madikarib: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When a man loves his brother, he should tell him that he loves him.

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: A man was with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and a man passed by him and said: Messenger of Allah! I love this man. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم then asked: Have you informed him? He replied: No. He said: Inform him. He then went to him and said: I love you for Allah's sake. He replied: May He for Whose sake you love me love you!

Abdullah bin al-samit told that Abu Dharr said: Messenger of Allah! A man loves some people, but he cannot do work like their work. He replied; Yes, Abu Dharr, will be with those whom you love. Abu Dharr then repeated it. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم also repeated it.

Anas bin Malik said: I never saw the Companions of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم so happy about anything as I saw them happy about this thing. A man said: Messenger of Allah! A man loves another man for the good work which he does, but he himself cannot do like it. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: A man will be with those whom he loves.
