Narrated Abdullah ibn AbulHamsa': I bought something from the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم before he received his Prophetic commission, and as there was something still due to him I promised him that I would bring it to him at his place, but I forgot. When I remembered three days later, I went to that place and found him there. He said: You have vexed me, young man. I have been here for three days waiting for you. Abu Dawud said: Muhammad bin Yahya said: This is, in our opinion, Abd al-Karim bin Abdullah bin Shaqiq (instead of from Abd al-Karim from Abdullah bin Shaqiq ). Abu Dawud said: In a similar way I have been informed by Ali bin Abdullah. Abu Dawud said: I have been told that Bishr bin al-Sarri transmitted it from Abdullah bin Shaqiq.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَمْسَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بَايَعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِبَيْعٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُبْعَثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبَقِيَتْ لَهُ بَقِيَّةٌ فَوَعَدْتُهُ أَنْ آتِيَهُ بِهَا فِي مَكَانِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَنَسِيتُ ثُمَّ ذَكَرْتُ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَجِئْتُ فَإِذَا هُوَ فِي مَكَانِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا فَتًى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَقَدْ شَقَقْتَ عَلَيَّ أَنَا هَاهُنَا مُنْذُ ثَلَاثٍ أَنْتَظِرُكَ ،‏‏‏‏ قال أبو داود:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا عِنْدَنَا عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أبو داود:‏‏‏‏ هَكَذَا بَلَغَنِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أبو داود:‏‏‏‏ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ بِشْرَ بْنَ السَّرِيِّ رَوَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ.

عبداللہ بن ابو حمساء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے بعثت سے پہلے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ایک چیز خریدی اور اس کی کچھ قیمت میرے ذمے رہ گئی تو میں نے آپ سے وعدہ کیا کہ میں اسی جگہ اسے لا کر دوں گا، پھر میں بھول گیا، پھر مجھے تین ( دن ) کے بعد یاد آیا تو میں آیا، دیکھا کہ آپ اسی جگہ موجود ہیں، آپ نے فرمایا: اے جوان! تو نے مجھے زحمت میں ڈال دیا، اسی جگہ تین دن سے میں تیرا انتظار کر رہا ہوں ۔

Asma, daughter of Abu Bakr, told of a woman who said: Messenger of Allah! I have a fellow-wife; will it be wrong for me to boast of receiving from my husband what he does not give me? He replied: the one who boasts of receiving what he has not been given is like him who has put on two garments of falsehood.

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: A man came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and said: Messenger of Allah! give me a mount. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: We shall give you a she-camel's child to ride on. He said: What shall I do with a she-camel's child? The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم replied: Do any others than she-camels give birth to camels?

Narrated An-Numan ibn Bashir: When Abu Bakr asked the permission of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم to come in, he heard Aishah speaking in a loud voice. So when he entered, he caught hold of her in order to slap her, and said: Do I see you raising your voice to the Messenger of Allah? The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم began to prevent him and Abu Bakr went out angry. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said when Abu Bakr went out: You see I rescued you from the man. Abu Bakr waited for some days, then asked permission of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم to enter, and found that they had made peace with each other. He said to them: Bring me into your peace as you brought me into your war. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: We have done so: we have done so.

Awf bin Malik al-Ashjai said: I came to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم at the expedition to Tabuk when he was in a small skin tent. I gave him a salutation and he returned it, saying: come in. I asked: the whole of me Messenger of Allah? He replied: The whole of you. So I entered.
