Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: I never heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم attributing anyone to anything except to religion.

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي الزَّرْقَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ مَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْسِبُ أَحَدًا إِلَّا إِلَى الدِّينِ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دین کے علاوہ کسی اور معاملے کی طرف کسی کی نسبت کرتے نہیں دیکھا ۱؎۔

Anas said: The people of Madina were started. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم rode on the horse belonging to Abu Talhah. He said: We did not see anything, or he said: we did not see (find) any fear. I found it (could run) like a river.

Abdullah (bin Masud) reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Avoid falsehood, for falsehood leads to wickedness, and wickedness to hell; and if a man continues to speak falsehood and makes falsehood his object, he will be recorded in Allah’s presence as a great liar. And adhere to truth, for truth leads to good deeds, and good deeds lead to paradise. If a man continues to speak the truth and makes truth his object, he will be recorded in Allah’s presence as eminently truthful.

Narrated Muawiyah ibn Jaydah al-Qushayri: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Woe to him who tells things, speaking falsely, to make people laugh thereby. Woe to him! Woe to him!.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amir: My mother called me one day when the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was sitting in our house. She said: Come here and I shall give you something. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم asked her: What did you intend to give him? She replied: I intended to give him some dates. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: If you were not to give him anything, a lie would be recorded against you.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: It is enough falsehood for a man to relate everything he hears. Abu Dawud said: Hafs did not mention Abu Hurairah (in his version). Abu Dawud said: No other transmitter except this old man, that is, Ali bin Hafs al-Mada'ini related the perfect chain of this tradition.
