Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: Something of her was stolen, and she began to curse him (i. e. the thief). The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said to her: Do not lessen his sin.

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ سُرِقَ لَهَا شَيْءٌ فَجَعَلَتْ تَدْعُو عَلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تُسَبِّخِي عَنْهُ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ان کی کوئی چیز چوری ہو گئی، تو وہ اس پر بد دعا کرنے لگیں، تو ان سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس ( چور ) سے عذاب کو ہلکا نہ کر ۔

Anas bin Malik reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Do not hate each other ; do not envy each other; do not desert each other; and be the servants of Allah as brethren. It is not allowable for a Muslim to keep apart from his brother for more than three days.

Abu Ayyub al-Ansari reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: it is not allowable for a Muslim to keep apart from his brother for more than three days. When they meet, this turns away from him, and that turns away from him. The better of the two is the one who initiates in salutation.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: It is not allowable for a believer to keep from a believer for more than three days. If three days pass, he should meet him and give him a salutation, and if he replies to it they will both have shared in the reward; but if he does not reply he will bear his sin (according to Ahmad's version) and the one who gives the salutation will have come forth from the sin of keeping apart.

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: It is not right for a Muslim to keep apart from another Muslim for more than three days. Then when he meets him and gives three salutations, receiving during that time no response, the other bears his sin.
