Ibn Abbas said: No other verse has repealed the verse If a man kills a believer intentionally
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا نَسَخَهَا شَيْءٌ .
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   آیت کریمہ «ومن يقتل مؤمنا متعمدا» ( کا حکم باقی ہے ) اسے کسی اور آیت نے منسوخ نہیں کیا ہے۔

Narrated Saeed ibn Zayd: We were with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. He mentioned civil strife (fitnah) and expressed its gravity. We or the people said: Messenger of Allah, if this happens to us it will destroy us. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said; No. It is enough for you that you would be killed. Saeed said: I saw that my brethren were killed.
