Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The hair of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم were up to the lobes of his ears.

حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ شَعْرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذُنَيْهِ .

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بال آپ کے دونوں کانوں کی لو تک پہنچتے تھے۔

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The hair of Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم were halfway down his ears.

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The hair of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم were above wafrah and below jummah.

Narrated Ibn Abbas: The people of the Book used to let their hair hand down, and the polytheists used to part their hair. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم like to confirm with the People of the Book in the matters about which he had received no command. Hence he Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم let his forelock hang down but afterwards he parted it.

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: When I parted the hair of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم I made a parting from the crow of his head and let his forelock hang between his eyes.

Narrated Wail ibn Hujr: I came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and I had long hair. When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم saw me, he said: Evil, evil! He said: I then returned and cut them off. I then came to him in the morning. He said (to me): I did not intend to do evil to you. This is much better.
