Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The water from as-Suqya' was considered sweetest by the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. Qutaybah said: it was a well on two days' journey from Madina.

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْهِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا:‏‏‏‏ أَنّ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَسِلَّمَ كَانَ يُسْتَعْذَبُ لَهُ الْمَاءُ مِنْ بُيُوتِ السُّقْيَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قِالَ قُتَيْبَةُ:‏‏‏‏ عَيْنٌ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ الْمَدِينَةِ يَوْمَانِ.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے سقیا کے گھروں سے میٹھا پانی لایا جاتا۔ قتیبہ کہتے ہیں: سقیا ایک چشمہ ہے جس کی مسافت مدینہ سے دو دن کی ہے۔

Abdullah bin Umar reported the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as sayings: when one of you is invited for a wedding feast, he must attend it.

Ibn Umar reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: if one of you invites his brother, he should accept (the invitation), whether it is a wedding feast or something of that nature.

Jabir reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as sayings: when one of you is invited to a meal, he must accept. If he wishes he may eat, but if he wishes (to leave), he may leave.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: He who does not accept an invitation which he receives has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger of, and he who enters without invitation enters as a thief and goes out as a raider. Abu Dawud said: Aban bin Tariq is unknown.
