Anas bin Malik said “A youth of Aslam said “Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, I wish to go on an expedition, but I have no property to make myself equipped. He said “go to so and so Ansari who prepared equipment (for the battle), but he fell ill and tell him that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم has conveyed his regards to you, and then tell him “Give him all the equipment you have made. He came to him and told him that. He said to his wife “O so and so, give him all the equipment I have made and do not detain anything from him. I swear by Allaah, if you detain anything from him, Allaah will not bless it.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ فَتًى مِنْ أَسْلَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْجِهَادَ وَلَيْسَ لِي مَالٌ أَتَجَهَّزُ بِهِ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اذْهَبْ إِلَى فُلَانٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ قَدْ تَجَهَّزَ فَمَرِضَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُلْ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقْرِئُكَ السَّلَامَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقُلْ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ ادْفَعْ إِلَيَّ مَا تَجَهَّزْتَ بِهِ فَأَتَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لِامْرَأَتِهِ يَا فُلَانَةُ ادْفَعِي لَهُ مَا جَهَّزْتِنِي بِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا تَحْبِسِي مِنْهُ شَيْئًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَوَاللَّهِ لَا تَحْبِسِينَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَيُبَارِكَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ.

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ قبیلہ اسلم کا ایک جوان نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میں جہاد کا ارادہ رکھتا ہوں لیکن میرے پاس مال نہیں ہے جس سے میں اس کی تیاری کر سکوں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: فلاں انصاری کے پاس جاؤ اس نے جہاد کا سامان تیار کیا تھا لیکن بیمار ہو گیا، اس سے جا کر کہو کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تمہیں سلام کہا ہے، اور یہ کہو کہ جو اسباب تم نے جہاد کے لیے تیار کیا تھا وہ مجھے دے دو ، وہ شخص اس انصاری کے پاس آیا اور آ کر اس نے یہی بات کہی، انصاری نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا: جتنا سامان تو نے میرے لیے جمع کیا تھا وہ سب اسے دیدے، اس میں سے کچھ مت رکھنا، اللہ کی قسم اس میں سے کچھ نہیں رکھے گی تو اللہ اس میں برکت دے گا ۱؎۔

Kaab bin Malik said “The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to arrive from a journey in the daytime. Al Hasan said “During the forenoon. ” When he arrived from a journey he went first to the mosque where he prayed two rak’ahs after which he sat in it and gave audience to the people.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم arrived from his hajj, he entered Madina, and made (his camel) kneel down at the gate of his mosque; and he entered it and offered two rak'ahs of prayer; he then returned to his home. Nafi said: Ibn Umar also used to do so.

Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Beware of the wages of a distributor of booty (qusamah). We asked: What is qusamah (wages of a distributor)? He said: It means a thing which is shared by the people, and then it is reduced.

Narrated Ata ibn Yasar: Ata reported a similar tradition (to No 2777) from the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. This version adds: a man is appointed on groups of people, and takes (wages) from the share of this, and from the share of this.

Narrated A man from the Companions of the Prophet: Ubaydullah ibn Salman reported on the authority of a man from the Companions of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم: When we conquered Khaybar, they (the people) took out their spoils which contained equipment and captives. The people began to buy and sell their spoils. When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prayed, a man came to him and said: Messenger of Allah, I have gained today so much so that no one gained from this valley. He asked: Woe unto you, how much did you gain? He replied: I kept on selling and buying until I gained three hundred uqiyahs. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: I tell you a man who gained better than you. He asked: What is that, Messenger of Allah? He replied! Two rak'ahs (of supererogatory prayer) after the (obligatory) prayer.

Narrated Dhul-Jawshan: A man of ad-Dabab, said: When the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم became free from the people of Badr I brought to him a colt of my mare called al-Qarha' I said: Muhammad, I have brought a colt of a al-Qarha', so that you may take it. He said: I have no need of it. If you wish that I give you a select coat of mail from (the spoils of) Badr, I shall do it. I said: I cannot give you today a colt in exchange. He said: Then I have no need of it.
