Narrated Abdullah ibn Mughaffal: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: No one of you should make water in his bath and then wash himself there (after urination). The version of Ahmad has: Then performs ablution there, for evil thoughts come from it.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَحْمَدُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِيأَشْعَثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَبُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مُسْتَحَمِّهِ ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ فِيهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَحْمَدُ:‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ فِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّ عَامَّةَ الْوَسْوَاسِ مِنْهُ.

عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے کوئی شخص ہرگز ایسا نہ کرے کہ اپنے غسل خانے ( حمام ) میں پیشاب کرے پھر اسی میں نہائے ۔ احمد کی روایت میں ہے: پھر اسی میں وضو کرے، کیونکہ اکثر وسوسے اسی سے پیدا ہوتے ہیں۔

Narrated A Man from the Companions: Humayd al-Himyari said: I met a man (Companion of the Prophet) who remained in the company of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم just as Abu Hurairah remained in his company. He then added: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade that anyone amongst us should comb (his hair) every day or urinate in the place where he takes a bath.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Sarjis: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prohibited to urinate in a hole. Qatadah (a narrator) was asked about the reason for the disapproval of urinating in a hole. He replied: It is said that these (hoes) are the habitats of the jinn.

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: When the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came out of the privy, he used to say: Grant me Thy forgiveness.

Narrated Abu Qatadah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When any one of you urinates, he must not touch his penis with his right hand, and when he goes to relieve himself he must not wipe himself with his right hand (in the privy), and when he drinks, he must not drink in one breath.

Narrated Hafsah, Ummul Muminin: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used his right hand for taking his food and drink and used his left hand for other purposes.
