Abd Allaah bin Amr said “ I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say “There will be emigration after emigration and the people who are best will be those who cleave most closely to places which Abraham migrated. The worst of its people will remain in the earth cast out by their lands, abhorred by Allaah, collected along with apes and swine by fire. ””

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَتَكُونُ هِجْرَةٌ بَعْدَ هِجْرَةٍ فَخِيَارُ أَهْلِ الأَرْضِ أَلْزَمُهُمْ مُهَاجَرَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَيَبْقَى فِي الأَرْضِ شِرَارُ أَهْلِهَا تَلْفِظُهُمْ أَرْضُوهُمْ تَقْذَرُهُمْ نَفْسُ اللَّهِ وَتَحْشُرُهُمُ النَّارُ مَعَ الْقِرَدَةِ وَالْخَنَازِيرِ .

عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: عنقریب ہجرت کے بعد ہجرت ہو گی تو زمین والوں میں بہتر وہ لوگ ہوں گے جو ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی ہجرت گاہ ( شام ) کو لازم پکڑیں گے، اور زمین میں ان کے بدترین لوگ رہ جائیں گے، ان کی سر زمین انہیں باہر پھینک دے گی ۱؎ اور اللہ کی ذات ان سے گھن کرے گی اور آگ انہیں بندروں اور سوروں کے ساتھ اکٹھا کرے گی ۲؎ ۔

Narrated Ibn Hawalah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: It will turn out that you will be armed troops, one is Syria, one in the Yemen and one in Iraq. Ibn Hawalah said: Choose for me, Messenger of Allah, if I reach that time. He replied: Go to Syria, for it is Allah's chosen land, to which his best servants will be gathered, but if you are unwilling, go to your Yemen, and draw water from your tanks, for Allah has on my account taken special charge of Syria and its people.

Narrated Thabit ibn Qays: A woman called Umm Khallad came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم while she was veiled. She was searching for her son who had been killed (in the battle) Some of the Companions of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said to her: You have come here asking for your son while veiling your face? She said: If I am afflicted with the loss of my son, I shall not suffer the loss of my modesty. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: You will get the reward of two martyrs for your son. She asked: Why is that so, Messenger of Allah? He replied: Because the people of the Book have killed him.
