Translation

Aishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said “One of the wives of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم observed I’tikaf along with him (in the mosque). She would see yellowness and redness. Sometimes we would place a washbasin while she prayed. ”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ اعْتَكَفَتْ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَكَانَتْ تَرَى الصُّفْرَةَ وَالْحُمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَرُبَّمَا وَضَعْنَا الطَّسْتَ تَحْتَهَا وَهِيَ تُصَلِّي .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ آپ کی بیویوں میں سے کسی نے اعتکاف کیا وہ ( خون میں ) پیلا پن اور سرخی دیکھتیں ( یعنی انہیں استحاضہ کا خون جاری رہتا ) تو بسا اوقات ہم ان کے نیچے ( خون کے لیے ) بڑا برتن رکھ دیتے اور وہ حالت نماز میں ہوتیں۔

Miqdan bin Shuraih reported on the authority of his father. I asked Aishah about settling in the desert (to worship Allaah in loneliness). Amir said “A man came to Abd Allaah bin Amr while the people were with him. He sat with him and said “Tell me anything that you heard from the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم”. He said “I hears the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say “A Muslim is he from whose tongue and hand the Muslims remain safe and an emigrant is he who abandons what Allaah has prohibited. ””

Abd Allaah bin Amr said “ I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say “There will be emigration after emigration and the people who are best will be those who cleave most closely to places which Abraham migrated. The worst of its people will remain in the earth cast out by their lands, abhorred by Allaah, collected along with apes and swine by fire. ””
