Ibn Umar said “The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to visit Quba on foot and riding. Ibn Numair added “and he used to offer two rak’ahs of prayer. ”
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى. ح حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْتِي قِبَاءَ مَاشِيًا وَرَاكِبًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏زَادَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسجد قباء پیدل اور سوار ( دونوں طرح سے ) آتے تھے ابن نمیر کی روایت میں اور دو رکعت پڑھتے تھے ( کا اضافہ ہے ) ۔

Narrated Rabiah ibn al-Hudayr: Rabiah ibn al-Hudayr said: I did not hear Talhah ibn Ubaydullah narrating any tradition from the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم except one tradition. I (Rabiah ibn Abu Abdur Rahman) asked: What is that? He said: We went out along with the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم who was going to visit the graves of the martyrs. When we ascended Harrah Waqim, and then descended from it, we found there some graves at the turning of the valley. We asked: Messenger of Allah, are these the graves of our brethren? He replied: Graves of our companions. When we came to the graves of martyrs, he said: These are the graves of our brethren.

Narrated Malik: One should not exceed al-Muarras when one returns to Madina until one prays there as much as one wishes, for I have been informed that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم halted there at night. Alqamah said “I was going with Abd Allaah bin Masud at Mina where Uthman met him and desired to have a talk with him in privacy”. When Abd Allaah (bin Masud) thought there was no need of privacy, he said to me “Come, Alqamah So I came (to him)”. Then Uthman said to him “Should we not marry you, Abu Abd Al Rahman to a virgin girl, so that the power you have lost may return to you?” Abd Allaah (bin Masud) said “If you say that, I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say “ Those of you who can support a wife, should marry, for it keeps you from looking at strange women and preserve from unlawful intercourse, but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting, for it is a means of suppressing sexual desire.
