Aishah said The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم entered Makkah from the side of Kuda’ the upper end of Makkah in the year of conquest (of Makkah) and he entered from the side of Kida’ when he performed ‘Umrah. Urwah used to enter (Makkah) from both sides, but he often entered from the side of Kuda’ as it was nearer to his house.
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ مِنْ كَدَاءَ مِنْ أَعْلَى مَكَّةَ وَدَخَلَ فِي الْعُمْرَةِ مِنْ كُدًى ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَكَانَ عُرْوَةُ يَدْخُلُ مِنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ أَكْثَرُ مَا كَانَ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ كُدًى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ أَقْرَبَهُمَا إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ.
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فتح مکہ کے سال مکہ کے بلند مقام کداء ۱؎ کی جانب سے داخل ہوئے اور عمرہ کے وقت کُدی ۲؎ کی جانب سے داخل ہوئے اور عروہ دونوں ہی جانب سے داخل ہوتے تھے، البتہ اکثر کدی کی جانب سے داخل ہوتے اس لیے کہ یہ ان کے گھر سے قریب تھا۔

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came an entered Makkah, and after the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had gone forward to the Stone, and touched it, he went round the House (the Kabah). He then went to as-Safa and mounted it so that he could look at the House. Then he raised his hands began to make mention of Allah as much as he wished and make supplication. The narrator said: The Ansar were beneath him. The narrator Hashim said: He prayed and praised Allah and asked Him for what he wished to ask.
