Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came an entered Makkah, and after the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had gone forward to the Stone, and touched it, he went round the House (the Kabah). He then went to as-Safa and mounted it so that he could look at the House. Then he raised his hands began to make mention of Allah as much as he wished and make supplication. The narrator said: The Ansar were beneath him. The narrator Hashim said: He prayed and praised Allah and asked Him for what he wished to ask.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَاشِمٌ يَعْنِيَ ابْنَ الْقَاسِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَخَلَ مَكَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ فَاسْتَلَمَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ أَتَى الصَّفَا فَعَلَاهُ حَيْثُ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَجَعَلَ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ مَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَذْكُرَهُ وَيَدْعُوهُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَ الْأَنْصَارُ تَحْتَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ هَاشِمٌ:‏‏‏‏ فَدَعَا وَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَدَعَا بِمَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم آئے اور مکہ میں داخل ہوئے تو پہلے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حجر اسود کے پاس آئے اور اس کا بوسہ لیا، پھر بیت اللہ کا طواف کیا، پھر صفا کی طرف آئے اور اس پر چڑھے جہاں سے بیت اللہ کو دیکھ رہے تھے، پھر اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھا کر اللہ تعالیٰ کا ذکر کرنے لگے اور اس کا ذکر کرتے رہے اور اس سے دعا کرتے رہے جتنی دیر تک اللہ نے چاہا، راوی کہتے ہیں: اور انصار آپ کے نیچے تھے، ہاشم کہتے ہیں: پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دعا کی اور اللہ کی حمد بیان کی اور جو دعا کرنا چاہتے تھے کی۔

Abis bin Rabiah said on the authority of Umar He (Umar) came to the (Black) Stone and said “ I know for sure that you are a stone which can neither benefit nor injure and had I not seen the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم kissing you, I would not have kissed you. ”

Ibn Umar said I have not seen the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم touching anything in the House (the Kaabah) but the two Yamani corners.

Ibn Umar was informed about the statement of Aishah that a part of al-Hijr is included in the magnitude of the Kabah. Ibn Umar said: By Allah, I think that she must have heard it from the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. I think that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had not given up touching both of them but for the reason that they were not on the foundation of the House (the Kabah), nor did the people circumambulate (the House) beyond al-Hijr for this reason.

Ibn Umar said The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم did not give up touching the Yamani corner and the (Black) Stone in each of his circumambulations. Ibn Umar used to do so.

Ibn Abbas said The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم performed the circumambulation at the Farewell Pilgrimage on a Camel and touched the corner (Black Stone) with a crooked stick.

Narrated Safiyyah, daughter of Shaybah: When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had some rest at Makkah in the year of its Conquest, he performed circumambulation on a camel and touched the corner (black Stone) with a crooked stick in his hand. She said: I was looking at him.
