Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: We were proceeding to Makkah along with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. We pasted on our foreheads the perfume known as sakk at the time of wearing ihram. When one of us perspired, it (the perfume) came down on her face. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم saw, but did not forbid it.

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْجُنَيْدِ الدَّامِغَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ بِنْتُ طَلْحَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا حَدَّثَتْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا نَخْرُجُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ فَنُضَمِّدُ جِبَاهَنَا بِالسُّكِّ الْمُطَيَّبِ عِنْدَ الْإِحْرَامِ فَإِذَا عَرِقَتْ إِحْدَانَا سَالَ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَرَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَا يَنْهَاهَا .

عائشہ بنت طلحہ کا بیان ہے کہ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے ان سے بیان کیا ہے کہ وہ کہتی ہیں کہ ہم لوگ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ مکہ کی طرف نکلتے تو ہم اپنی پیشانی پر خوشبو کا لیپ لگاتے تھے جب پسینہ آتا تو وہ خوشبو ہم میں سے کسی کے منہ پر بہہ کر آ جاتی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کو دیکھتے لیکن منع نہ کرتے ۱؎۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: Salim ibn Abdullah said: Abdullah ibn Umar used to do so, that is to say, he would cut the shoes of a woman who put on ihram; then Safiyyah, daughter of Abu Ubayd, reported to him that Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated to her that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم gave licence to women in respect of the shoes (i. e. women are not required to cut the shoes). He, therefore, abandoned it.

Al Bara (bin Azib) said When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم concluded the treaty with the people of Al Hudaibiyyah, they stipulated that they (the Muslims) would not enter (Makkah) except with the bag of armament (julban al-silah). I asked what is julban al-silah? He replied: The bag with its contents.

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: Riders would pass us when we accompanied the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم while we were in the sacred state (wearing ihram). When they came by us, one of us would let down her outer garment from her head over her face, and when they had passed on, we would uncover our faces.

Umm al Hussain said We performed the Farewell Pilgrimage along with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. I saw Usamah and Bilal one of them holding the halter of the she-Camel of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, while the other raising his garment and sheltering from the heat till he had thrown pebbles at the jamrah of the ‘Aqabah.
