Narrated Busrah daughter of Safwan: Abdullah ibn Abu Bakr reported that he heard Urwah say: I entered upon Marwan ibn al-Hakam. We mentioned things that render the ablution void. Marwan said: Does it become void by touching the penis? Urwah replied: This I do not know. Marwan said: Busrah daughter of Safwan reported to me that she heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: He who touches his penis should perform ablution.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ فَذَكَرْنَا مَا يَكُونُ مِنْهُ الْوُضُوءُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ مَرْوَانُ:‏‏‏‏ وَمِنْ مَسِّ الذَّكَرِ ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ عُرْوَةُ:‏‏‏‏ مَا عَلِمْتُ ذَلِكَ. فَقَالَ مَرْوَانُ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَتْنِي بُسْرَةُ بِنْتُ صَفْوَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ .

عبداللہ بن ابی بکر کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے عروہ کو کہتے سنا: میں مروان بن حکم کے پاس گیا اور ان چیزوں کا تذکرہ کیا جن سے وضو ٹوٹ جاتا ہے، تو مروان نے کہا: اور عضو تناسل چھونے سے بھی ( وضو ہے ) ، اس پر عروہ نے کہا: مجھے یہ معلوم نہیں، تو مروان نے کہا: مجھے بسرہ بنت صفوان رضی اللہ عنہا نے خبر دی ہے کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: ”جو اپنا عضو تناسل چھوئے وہ وضو کرے“۔

Narrated Talq: We came upon the Prophet of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. A man came to him: he seemed to be a bedouin. He said: Prophet of Allah, what do you think about a man who touches his penis after performing ablution? He صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم replied: That is only a part of his body. Abu Dawud said: The tradition has been transmitted through a different chain of narrators.

Narrated Al-Bara ibn Azib: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was asked about performing ablution after eating the flesh of the camel. He replied: Perform ablution, after eating it. He was asked about performing ablution after eating meat. He replied: Do not perform ablution after eating it. He was asked about saying prayer in places where the camels lie down. He replied: Do not offer prayer in places where the camels lie down. These are the places of Satan. He was asked about saying prayer in the sheepfolds. He replied: You may offer prayer in such places; these are the places of blessing.

Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم passed by a boy who was skinning a goat. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Give it up until I show you. He (the Prophet) inserted his hand between the skin and the flesh until it reached the armpit. He then went away and led the people in prayer and he did not perform ablution. The version of Amr added that he did not touch water. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been narrated though another chain of transmitters, making no mention of Abu Saeed.

Jabir narrated: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم passed by the market when on his return from one of the villages of Aliyah. People accompanied him from both sides. One the way he found a dead kid with both its ears joined together. He caught hold of it by its ear. He then said: Which of you likes to take it ? The narrator transmitted the tradition in full.
