Abu Asad bin Amr said: I asked Anas bin Malik about ablution. He replied: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم performed ablution for each prayer and we offered (many) prayers with the same ablution.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْبَجَلِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ أَبُو أَسَدِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُأَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكُنَّا نُصَلِّي الصَّلَوَاتِ بِوُضُوءٍ وَاحِدٍ .
عمرو بن عامر بجلی (محمد بن عیسیٰ کہتے ہیں:   عمرو بن عامر بجلی ابواسد بن عمرو ہیں ) کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے وضو کے بارے میں پوچھا، تو انہوں نے کہا: نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہر نماز کے لیے وضو کرتے تھے، اور ہم لوگ ایک ہی وضو سے کئی نمازیں پڑھا کرتے تھے۔

Buraidah on the authority of his father reported: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم performed five prayers with the same ablution of the occasion of the capture of Makkah, and he wiped over his socks. Umar said to him (the Prophet): I saw you doing a thing today that you never did. He said: I did it deliberately.

Anas reported: A person came to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. He performed ablution and left a small part equal to the space of a nail upon his foot. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said to him: Go back and perform ablution well. Abu Dawud said: This tradition is not known through Jarir bin Hazim. It was transmitted only by Ibn Wahab. Another version adds the wording: “ Go back and perform the ablution well. ”

Narrated Some Companions of the Prophet: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم saw a person offering prayer, and on the back of his foot a small part equal to the space of a dirham remained unwashed; the water did not reach it. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم commanded him to repeat the ablution and prayer.

Abbad bin Tamim reported from his uncle that a person made a complaint to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم that he entertained (doubt) as if something had happened to him which had rendered his ablution invalid. He (the Prophet) said: He should not cease (to pray) unless he hears a sound or perceives a smell (of passing wind).
