The chain is not strong. Another chain from Yahya bin Ayyub is also disputed.

Ali bin Abi Talib, Ibn Masud, al-Bara bin Aziz, Anas bin Malik, Abu Umamah, Sahl bin Saad and Amr bin Huriath also wiped over the stockings.
