Ibn 'Abbas reported this hadith through another chain of transmitters with a sliglit variation of wording.
و حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا حَزَبَهُ أَمْرٌ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَزَادَ مَعَهُنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
  حماد بن سلمہ نے کہا : مجھے یوسف بن عبداللہ بن حارث نے ابوعالیہ سے خبر دی ، انہوں نے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو جب کوئی سخت مشکل اور تکلیف دہ معاملہ درپیش ہوتا تو آپ فرماتے ، پھر اسی طرح بیان کیا جس طرح معاذ نے اپنے والد سے حدیث بیان کی ہے اور ان کلمات کے ساتھ " لا اله الا لله العظيم الحليم " کے بعد ) " لا اله الا لله رب العرش الكريم " مزید بیان کیا ۔

Abu Dharr reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) was asked as to which words were the best. He said: Those for which Allah made a choice for His Angels and His servants (and the words are): Hallowed be Allah and praise is due to Him.

I said: Allah's Mes- senger, do inform me about the words liked most by Allah. He said: Verily, the words liked most by Allah are: hallowed be Allah and praise is due to Him.

Umm Darda' reported: My husband reported that he heard Allah's Mes- senger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: He who supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), the Angel commissioned (for carrying supplication to his Lord) says: Amen, and it is for you also.

Safwan (and he was Ibn 'Abdullah b. Safwan, and he had been married to Umm Darda') reported: I visited Abu Darda's house in Syria. I did not find him there but Umm Darda' (was present at the house). She said: Do you intend to perform Hajj during this year? I said: Yes. She said: Do supplicate Allah for blessings upon us, for Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon hiin) used to say: The supplication of a Muslim for his brother at his back (in his absence) is responded so long as he makes a supplica- tion for blessings for his brother and the commissioned Angel says: Amen, and says: May it be for you too I I went to the bazar and met Abfi Dardi' and he narrated like this from Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ).
