Abu Dharr reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: Should I not inform you about the words liked most by Allah? I said: Allah's Mes- senger, do inform me about the words liked most by Allah. He said: Verily, the words liked most by Allah are: hallowed be Allah and praise is due to Him.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجِسْرِيِّ مِنْ عَنَزَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَحَبِّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللَّهِ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخْبِرْنِي بِأَحَبِّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللَّهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللَّهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

شعبہ نے جریر سے ، انہوں نے ابوعبداللہ جسری سے جو عنزہ قبیلے سے تھے ، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن صامت سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " کیا میں تمہیں وہ کلمہ نہ بتاؤں جو اللہ تعالیٰ کو سب سے زیادہ محبوب ہے؟ " میں نے کہا : اللہ کے رسول! مجھے وہ کلمہ بتائیے جو اللہ تعالیٰ کو سب سے زیادہ محبوب ہے ، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " اللہ تعالیٰ کو سب سےزیادہ محبوب کلمہ سبحان الله وبحمده ہے ۔

Abu Dharr reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: There is no believing servant who supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence) that the Angels do not say: The same be for you too.

Umm Darda' reported: My husband reported that he heard Allah's Mes- senger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: He who supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), the Angel commissioned (for carrying supplication to his Lord) says: Amen, and it is for you also.

Safwan (and he was Ibn 'Abdullah b. Safwan, and he had been married to Umm Darda') reported: I visited Abu Darda's house in Syria. I did not find him there but Umm Darda' (was present at the house). She said: Do you intend to perform Hajj during this year? I said: Yes. She said: Do supplicate Allah for blessings upon us, for Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon hiin) used to say: The supplication of a Muslim for his brother at his back (in his absence) is responded so long as he makes a supplica- tion for blessings for his brother and the commissioned Angel says: Amen, and says: May it be for you too I I went to the bazar and met Abfi Dardi' and he narrated like this from Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ).

Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: Allah is pleased with His servant who says: Al-Hamdu lillah while taking a morsel of food and while drinking.
