Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: When a person says that people are ruined he is himself ruined. Abu Ishaq said: I do not know whether he said ahlakahum or ahlakuhum.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ هَلَكَ النَّاسُ فَهُوَ أَهْلَكُهُمْ قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَقَ لَا أَدْرِي أَهْلَكَهُمْ بِالنَّصْبِ أَوْ أَهْلَكُهُمْ بِالرَّفْعِ

حماد بن ابی سلمہ اور امام مالک نے سہیل بن ابی صالح ، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے ، انہوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" جب ایک شخص ( یہ ) کہتا ہے : لوگ ہلاک ہو گئے تو وہ انہیں ہلاک کر دیتا ہے ۔ "" ( امام مسلم کے ایک شاگرد ) ابواسحاق نے کہا : مجھے ( یعنی طور پر ) معلوم نہیں کہ ( کاف کے ) زبر کے ساتھ اهلكهم ( اس نے انہیں ہلاک کر دیا ہے ) یا پیش کے ساتھ اهلكهم ( ان سب سے بڑھ کر ہلاک کرنے والا ہے ) ۔ ""

Abu Dharr reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) commanded me thus: Whenever you prepare a broth, add water to it, and have in your mind the members of the household of your neighbours and then give them out of this with courtesy.
