This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'A'isha through another chain of transmitters.

حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ

ہشام بن عروہ نے اپنے والد سے ، انہوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے اور انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی کے مانند حدیث بیان کی ۔

Ibn Umar reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Gabriel impressed upon me (the kind treatment) towards the neighbour (so much) that I thought as if he would soon confer upon him the (right) of inheritance.

Abu Dharr reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Abu Dharr, when you prepare the broth, add water to that and give that (as a present) to your neighbour.

Abu Dharr reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) commanded me thus: Whenever you prepare a broth, add water to it, and have in your mind the members of the household of your neighbours and then give them out of this with courtesy.

Abu Musa reported that when any needy (person) came to Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) with a need he commanded him to his Companions, saying: Make a recommendation for him, and you would get the reward. Allah, however, gives the verdict through the tongue of His Apostle what He likes most.

Abu Musa reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: The similitude of good company and that of bad company is that of the owner of musk and of the one (iron-smith) blowing bellows, and the owner of musk would either offer you free of charge or you would buy it from him or you would. smell its pleasant odour, and so far as one who blows the. bellows is concerned, he would either burn your clothes or you shall have to smell its repugnant smell.
