Anas reported Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Nurse no grudge, nurse no aversion and do not sever ties of kinship and live like fellow-brothers as servants of Allah.
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «لَا تَحَاسَدُوا، وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا، وَلَا تَقَاطَعُوا، وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللهِ إِخْوَانًا»
  ابوداؤد نے کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے قتادہ سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " ایک دوسرے سے حسد نہ کرو ، ایک دوسرے سے بغض نہ رکھو ، ایک دوسرے سے قطع تعلق نہ کرو اور اللہ کے بندے ( ایک دوسرے کے ) بھائی بن کر رہو ۔ "

Abu Ayyub Ansiri reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: It is not permissible for a Muslim to have estranged relations with his brother beyond three nights, the one turning one way and the other turning the other way when they meet; the better of the two is one who is the first to give a greeting.
