Translation

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters but with this addition: As Allah has commanded you.

حَدَّثَنِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ وَزَادَ كَمَا أَمَرَكُمُ اللهُ

) وہب بن جریر نے کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے اسی سند کے ساتھ اسی کے مانند حدیث بیان کی اور مزید یہ کہا : " جس طرح اللہ نے تمہیں حکم دیا ہے ۔ "

Abu Ayyub Ansiri reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: It is not permissible for a Muslim to have estranged relations with his brother beyond three nights, the one turning one way and the other turning the other way when they meet; the better of the two is one who is the first to give a greeting.

This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Zuhri with a slight variation of wording (and the words are): The one turning away and the other turning away when they meet and one avoids the other and the other also avoids him.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Avoid suspicion, for suspicion is the gravest lie in talk and do not be inquisitive about one another and do not spy upon one another and do not feel envy with the other, and nurse no malice, and nurse no aversion and hostility against one another. And be fellow-brothers and servants of Allah.
