Translation

Abu Huraira reported that al-Aqra' b. Habis saw Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) kissing Hasan. He said: I have ten children, but I have never kissed any one of them, whereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: He who does not show mercy (towards his children), no mercy would be shown to him.

وحَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: عَمْرٌو، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ الْأَقْرَعَ بْنَ حَابِسٍ، أَبْصَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَبِّلُ الْحَسَنَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ لِي عَشَرَةً مِنَ الْوَلَدِ مَا قَبَّلْتُ وَاحِدًا مِنْهُمْ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّهُ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمْ لَا يُرْحَمْ»

سفیان بن عیینہ نے زہری سے ، انھوں نے ابو سلمہ سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے رویت کی کہ اقرع بن حابس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا ، آپ حضرت حسن رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو بوسہ دے رہے تھے ، انھوں نے کہا : میرے دس بچے ہیں اور میں نے ان میں سے کسی کو کبھی بوسہ نہیں دیا ، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا؛ " جو شخص رحم نہیں کرتا اس پر رحم نہیں کیا جائے گا ۔

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jarir b. 'Abdullah through different chains of transmitters and the words are: That the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: He who shows no mercy to the people, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, does not show mercy to him.

Abu Sa'id Khudri reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) was more modest than the virgin behind the curtain (or in the apartment), and when he disliked anything, we recognised that from his face.

Masruq reported: We went to Abdullah b. 'Amr when Mu'dwiya came to Kufa, and he made a mention of Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) and said: He was never immoderate in his talk and he never reviled others. Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) also said: The best amongst you are those who are best in morals. Uthman said: When he came to Kufa along with Mu'awiya... (The rest of the hadith is the same).
