Translation

Anas b. Malik reported: I have never seen anyone more kind to one's family than Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), and Ibrahim was sent to the suburb of Medina for suckling. He used to go there and we accompanied him. He entered the house, and it was filled with smoke as his foster-father was a bricksmith. He took him (his son Ibrihim) and kissed him and then came back. 'Amr said that when Ibrihim died. Allah's LMessenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: Ibrihim is my son and he dies as a suckling babe. He has now two foster-mothers who would complete his suckling period in Paradise.

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لِزُهَيْرٍ - قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: «مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا كَانَ أَرْحَمَ بِالْعِيَالِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»، قَالَ: «كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مُسْتَرْضِعًا لَهُ فِي عَوَالِي الْمَدِينَةِ، فَكَانَ يَنْطَلِقُ وَنَحْنُ مَعَهُ فَيَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ وَإِنَّهُ لَيُدَّخَنُ، وَكَانَ ظِئْرُهُ قَيْنًا، فَيَأْخُذُهُ فَيُقَبِّلُهُ، ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ» قَالَ عَمْرٌو: فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ابْنِي وَإِنَّهُ مَاتَ فِي الثَّدْيِ وَإِنَّ لَهُ لَظِئْرَيْنِ تُكَمِّلَانِ رَضَاعَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ»

عمرو بن سعید نے حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بڑھ کر کسی کو اپنی اولاد پر شفیق نہیں دیکھا ، ( آپ کے فرزند ) حضرت ابراہیم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ مدینہ کی بالائی بستی میں دودھ پیتے تھے ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وہاں تشریف لے جاتے اور ہم بھی آپ کے ساتھ ہوتے تھے ، آپ گھر میں داخل ہوتے تو وہاں دھوا ں ہوتا کیونکہ حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کا رضاعی والد لوہار تھا ۔ آپ بچے کو لیتے ، اسے پیار کرتے اور پھر لوٹ آتے ۔ عمرو ( بن سعید ) نے کہا : جب حضرت ابراہیم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فوت ہوگئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا؛ "" ابراہیم میر ابیٹا ہے اور وہ دودھ پینے کے ایام میں فوت ہواہے ، اس کی دودھ پلانے والی دو مائیں ہیں جو جنت میں اس کی رضاعت ( کی مدت ) مکمل کریں گی ۔ ""

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that there came a few desert Arabs to Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) and said: Do you kiss your children? He said: Yes. Thereupon they said: By Allah but we do not kiss our children. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: Then what can I do if Allah has deprived you of mercy? Ibn Numair said: (We has deprived) your heart of mercy

Abu Huraira reported that al-Aqra' b. Habis saw Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) kissing Hasan. He said: I have ten children, but I have never kissed any one of them, whereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: He who does not show mercy (towards his children), no mercy would be shown to him.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jarir b. 'Abdullah through different chains of transmitters and the words are: That the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: He who shows no mercy to the people, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, does not show mercy to him.
